Is it rude to eat some snacks from an office party when the party is for someone you didn’t know?
Today they are throwing a goodbye party for an employee who I never really knew. I didn’t donate to the party, but neither did a lot of the people who are going. I don’t plan to eat a ton or anything, but can I have a handful of almonds or something without being rude?
I mean, they are throwing the party in the middle of the reception area, which is right in front of and around my desk…
