♥ I got a free lunch because we ordered a catering service for a meeting today and had leftovers.

♥ The free lunch included a brownie.

♥ A card showed up in my inbox (I have an inbox!) and it turned out to be a handwritten note from the President of the company (my supervisor’s boss) thanking me for the wonderful work I have done and telling me everyone is giving me rave reviews!!!

♥ The tattoo shop called me to say that I could go in on Saturday to see the final drawing for my tattoo!

♥ My mom emailed me her flight confirmation for February 13^th!

♥ I did NOT buy a beautiful, fantastic, deeply discounted pair of custom fit boots today because I am trying to really stick with this “only necessary shopping” thing. It’s tougher than I thought it would be, but worth it.

♫ Those boots, however, are continuing to call my name.

♫ I might seriously consider foregoing the coveted birthday iPod for these boots, as no other boots known to God or Man will ever fit the Calves of Destruction.

♥ I am almost finished with the book I am reading, and am excited to choose another from the Pile-o-Books!

♥ I don’t think I am going to lose ANY weight this week, since cookies for dinner was followed by free brownie… but we’ll see. The stairs are getting easier for me, so I must be doing something right.
