The Few – A Post of Love

16 Nov

I despise my fellow university students with a deep and fiery passion. As a whole, I find the vapid, tedious little people with no thought for actual world events or the people around them. They smoke right outside the doors, thus forcing me to walk through their cancer clouds. They wear things so ridiculous they don’t even have a name. They talk about drinking/partying/drunken escapades every minute. They miss class then whine about their grades.

That being said, there are a small handful of people on that forsaken campus who I completely adore. Here is a tribute to the people who make my campus existence more than bearable:

— BK — She has already been on the blog several times. She is sweet and smart and beautiful, fun, funny, and has great taste in music. Like me, she works too hard and doesn’t back off when she should. I admire work ethic, so go BK! Also, she has turtle seat covers, and she totally posed in the kiddie castle with me.

— Manda — This chick is cool. She dresses in a nifty, kitschy-cool way. She paints like nobody’s business. She acts, and she does a mean Audrey Hepburn. She’s sweet, and she helps me practice my Greek! Also, awesome taste in t-shirts.

— CB — She’s a friend of BK, which sort of automatically makes her cool. But also, she is from the rednecky place where my parents live and I still completely covet her fashion sense. Also, she’s artsy which is cool. She is way better at Greek (and Latin) than I am, so I am totally jealous of her language smarts. I am hoping she is feeling better… she’s been all sick with the Czech Flu lately.

There are more of you out there, I hope. Please come find me. It’s a cold, lonely world without the bastion of smart people!

I absolutely adore you Heather! hehe. No worries, you don’t need anyone outside of the three of us. lol. We’re a small club… us nerds. In all honesty, there aren’t many people at our school who actually care about learning for learning’s sake or really anything for that matter. However, that won’t get them far. There’s that saying: “Reach for the stars.” Those kids will always be left reaching, while people like you are holding the stars in your left hand and playing your own piano theme song with the right… just a thought. 😉

I know what you mean. I hate that about college. There should be a school for people like us, and a school for the smoker/drinker/only care about partying people.

Ah, that post rocks, man, it’s so important to make people know how much they mean to you. I’d totally want to hang with you guys if I went to school there, though I fear I’m not smart enough! ha

Of course you are smart enough Wondy! We aren’t all brainy crazy chicks. In fact, we almost never talk about school.

I decided to make one of these… and… write. But, I don’t write. lol.
