YSP’s Labyrinth

3 Feb

Forget Pan’s Labyrinth, I entered my very own impossible maze tonight.

Mr. Pants and I headed into Baltimore for a friend’s birthday dinner.  We don’t go into Baltimore often because… well, frankly?  We sort of hate it.  It’s not a place where we’ve ever managed to feel quite comfortable.  However, friends are worth sacrifices, and so we set off.

Now I always get terribly lost in Baltimore, but this time I knew I would be fine.  Mr. Pants has an infallible sense of direction and practically never gets lost.  Alas, Baltimore had other plans.

We looked for Boston Street.  No.  We looked for Lighthouse Point.  No.  We looked for Sushi-San.  Another No.  Hell, at this point we looked for the minotaur.  More No.  We had been defeated by the sneaky city.

So, we went home, stopped at the grocery store, bought ice cream, and watched the end of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Aw! Sorry your dinner didn’t go as planned but it sounds like you made the best of it. 😉

Speaking of Pan’s – have you seen it? We saw it a few weeks back and fell in love.
