A Little Letter

7 May

If you’re sick of reading about potential baby thoughts, feel free to skip this one. Otherwise, read on…

Dear Little One,

It looks like you weren’t ready yet! I think you must be a lot like me – which means that your Dad and I should get comfortable waiting while you make plans and to-do lists so that everything is just how you’d like it.

That’s alright, take your time. I just hope you’re not too disappointed when you get here and find that Mom and Dad aren’t always following the plan. I make lists too, but sometimes I throw them out.

Your Banana makes lists too. Oh boy, are you going to like her and your Papa. You will be spoiled like crazy at their house – just like it should be.

You get back to your lists! I know you’ve got plans to make. Just put “arrive in Mom’s belly” in the top five or so, okay?

I love you!

Your Mommy

Along with “arrive in Mom’s belly” may I also suggest “don’t make her too sick in the mornings” and “please make her crave ridiculous combinations of things so she can blog about it and make us all chuckle?

I can’t wait for baby to come. You should have been more insistent that that come top of the list. Come on, l’il fella/girl – we want to meet you!

🙂 yay! Heath you’re going to be such a good mommy!

P.S. Littlest Baby–You should hurry up and arrive in your mom’s belly so you can hurry up and get here… there’s an awesome poorly knitted blanket awaiting you… and if that isn’t enough to make you hurry I don’t know what is! hehe 😉
