Book Review #9

8 Jun

Kelley Armstrong’s No Humans Involved is the most recent in her Women of the Otherworld series.  I have the sneaking suspicion it is also the last, since unlike the other books it doesn’t end with a preview of the next installment…

Like the others, it was a quick read and a lot of fun.  I like the supernatural angle because it is set up as though it could be going on all around you and you, as a normal human being, might never know.  It’s an interesting concept, if completely fictional.

I really like Armstrong’s writing.  I think she has a couple of other books out there now, and I might give them a try.  They aren’t supernaturally themed, so it will be interesting to see if I still like her style without the ghosts.

Verdict: A
